Types of Production at Diana&Co.

At DIANA&CO., we love making beautiful, wearable pieces — and we also love being smart about how we make them. To keep costs down (so we can bring you great designs without the scary price tag), we use two production methods: print‑on‑demand (POD) for some apparel and in‑house production for other items. Here’s a quick, friendly breakdown of what that means for you — the good, the less‑good, and why we think it’s worth it.

Print‑on‑demand (POD)

  • What it is: We partner with trusted POD providers who print and ship items as orders come in — ideal for tees, sweatshirts and certain printed pieces.

  • Pros for you:

    • More design variety — we can offer niche prints and limited runs without raising prices.

    • Less waste — items are only made when ordered, which is kinder to the planet.

    • Lower prices and more frequent drops.

  • Cons for you:

    • Slightly longer fulfilment times compared with ready stock — some POD items take a few extra days to arrive.

    • Limited custom finishing options (for example, hand‑stitched details or special packaging are not usually available).

    • Minor variations between items can occur from print to print.

In‑house production

  • What it is: We make certain products ourselves — crafting, hand‑finishing and quality‑checking items right here at DIANA&CO.

  • Pros for you:

    • Faster shipping for in‑stock items and tighter quality control.

    • More artisanal touches: unique finishes, packaging and care put in by our team.

    • Greater ability to offer small batch exclusives and personalised touches.

  • Cons for you:

    • Generally higher cost than POD items because of labour, materials and small batch production.

    • Limited quantities — once a small run sells out, it may take time before it’s made again.

What this means for your purchase

  • Choice: You get the best of both worlds — fun, affordable printed designs through POD and thoughtful, handcrafted pieces from our studio.

  • Transparency: We’ll always state whether an item is POD or in‑house on the product page so you know what to expect.

  • Quality promise: We stand behind every item we sell. If something isn’t right, contact us and we’ll sort it out — because your happiness matters (and we don’t take your support for granted).

Thank you for supporting DIANA&CO. — your purchases help us keep designing, creating and making small business dreams a little more colourful.
